Geonode overview

Geonode offers residential proxies in two models, pay-as-you-go and unlimited, plus datacenter and ISP (static residential) proxies. Proxies support HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5, with both rotating and sticky sessions.

Features:

  • ISP & residential services: Geonode now offers Static Residential (ISP) proxies at approximately $1.50 per IP, filling gaps in its service lineup.
  • ASN/ISP targeting: Users can select proxies based on specific Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) or Internet Service Providers (ISPs) worldwide, enabling more precise network targeting.
  • Sticky sessions: Session durations have been massively extended. Users can now set custom sticky session intervals ranging from 3 minutes up to 24 hours, a major upgrade from the previous 60-minute limit.
  • Protocol support: HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS, and SOCKS5.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Per-GB and per-IP pricing below most premium providers.
  • Pay-as-you-go option with no monthly commitment, plus a low-cost trial.
  • Long sticky-session window (up to 24 hours).

Cons

  • Smaller residential pool than premium providers such as Bright Data and Oxylabs.
  • No built-in scraping API, web unblocker, or CAPTCHA solver, which competitors bundle.

Geonode offers a paid 10 GB trial for $5, rather than a free tier. This lets you test the proxies on your own targets at low cost.
