ManageEngine MSP Central

ManageEngine MSP Central differentiates through component-based modular pricing that lets an MSP purchase PSA-only, PSA plus RMM, or PSA plus RMM plus Security as separate bundles.2 The platform includes AI-powered ticket routing and ticket summaries, and it uses event correlation and anomaly detection for monitoring rather than simple threshold alerting. Regional data sovereignty options are available for customer data storage.

Pros:

  • Publishes exact monthly dollar pricing for all three module combinations directly on the official site.
  • Modular structure avoids paying for a security module that is not needed.

Cons:

  • Full PSA+RMM+Security tier ($448/month) costs significantly more than the PSA+RMM tier, a steep step-up for adding security.

Atera

Atera differentiates through per-technician licensing that covers an unlimited number of managed devices and customers under a single seat.3 The platform now includes an AI Copilot allowance across all pricing tiers, including entry-level plans, following a 2026 update that removed the previous add-on requirement for lower tiers. Atera targets MSPs that want predictable monthly costs without per-endpoint scaling.

Cons:

  • Network-discovery capabilities require a separate add-on purchase on lower tiers beyond the base subscription.12

ConnectWise

ConnectWise differentiates through the breadth of its Asio platform, which now presents PSA and RMM through a shared interface and design language. ConnectWise RMM ships over 1,200 pre-built intelligent alerts and supports third-party patching for more than 7,000 applications.13 Sidekick generates PowerShell, batch, and bash scripts via AI inside the RMM console.

Pros:

  • PSA and RMM share a common interface following the Asio migration, reducing context-switching between the two products.14
  • Large pre-built alert library reduces the manual tuning needed to cut alert noise.4

HaloPSA

HaloPSA differentiates through an all-inclusive licensing model in which every feature is standard across all agents, with no capabilities gated behind higher pricing tiers. The platform extends beyond typical MSP PSA scope into enterprise service management modules covering HR, finance, and facilities. HaloPSA also offers a flat $1,000,000 per year Enterprise Package for unlimited licenses, and a funded program for select nonprofits.5 The product does not include native RMM and requires pairing with a separate RMM tool.

Pros:

  • Nonprofit discount and a fully funded program for qualifying charities reduce cost for that segment.

Cons:

  • Per-agent pricing is on the higher end at small agent counts before volume pricing applies.

Kaseya 365

Kaseya 365 differentiates through bundling endpoint management, security, and backup into two primary subscriptions. Kaseya 365 Endpoint includes RMM, patch management, antivirus, EDR, and endpoint backup with 5TB of shared storage under a single subscription. Kaseya 365 Ops bundles PSA, documentation, quoting, and accounts receivable at $129 per user per month with a contractual price-lock guarantee capping renewal increases at 5 percent plus CPI.6

Pros:

  • Price-lock guarantee on Ops limits renewal cost increases during the committed term.

Cons:

  • Kaseya 365 Ops requires a minimum of 3 user licenses and a one-year commitment, a higher entry commitment than month-to-month competitors.

N-able

N-able differentiates through native CMMC 2.0 compliance support for defense-adjacent clients and through N-zo, an AI assistant embedded in N-central for risk identification and remediation guidance.8 The platform also provides an MCP Server that lets external AI tools query live N-central data directly.

Pros:

  • MCP Server connectivity allows external AI tools to query platform data directly.

Cons:

  • No published pricing of any kind. All quotes are custom and require a sales conversation.

Pulseway

Pulseway differentiates through a mobile-first architecture that centers device management and remote control on a smartphone application marketed for managing IT from any location. Security, backup, helpdesk, and PSA capabilities are sold as separate add-on modules rather than bundled into the base subscription.

Pros:

  • Mobile-first design gives technicians device management and remote control capability without a desktop session.

Cons:

  • No pricing tiers or dollar amounts are published on the official site.
  • Antivirus, ransomware detection, phishing defense, documentation, ticketing, and backup are all separate add-ons rather than included features.

SuperOps

SuperOps offers modular pricing that lets buyers purchase PSA-only, RMM-only, or unified PSA+RMM bundles.9 The platform also provides a choice between per-technician and per-endpoint billing through its Super Plus tier. Per-technician tiers include 150 endpoints per license, with additional capacity sold in 150-endpoint packs.

Pros:

  • Publishes full pricing publicly, including for the unified PSA+RMM tier, without requiring a sales call.

Cons:

  • Per-technician tiers cap included endpoints at 150 before extra packs must be purchased.

Syncro

Syncro unifies RMM, PSA, and Microsoft 365 security and identity management within a single data model and per-technician subscription.10 The Team plan includes native Entra ID sync directly inside the PSA/RMM console, while Microsoft 365 and Entra ID cloud backup remains a separate add-on billed at $1.90 per user per month regardless of plan tier. Syncro also lists a Syncro MCP Server on the Claude Connector Directory for agentic AI integration.

Pros:

  • Unlimited endpoints included at every tier, avoiding per-device overage charges as a client base grows.

Cons:

  • Microsoft 365 security and identity management is gated behind the higher Team plan, not available on Core.

Features common to all-in-one MSP platforms

The following capabilities represent the baseline feature set shared by all ten platforms in this comparison.

  • Patch management, remote monitoring, and remote access are excluded from this list because HaloPSA does not include native RMM functionality. It relies on integrations with third-party RMM tools for those capabilities.15
  • All ten platforms include ticketing and help desk management as standard functionality, supporting ticket logging, technician assignment, and status tracking.1617
  • Asset and configuration tracking also spans the full set. A centralized inventory of client hardware, software, and configuration items is maintained through either a native remote monitoring agent or dedicated asset tracking with dependency mapping.181920
  • Billing functionality is likewise universal. Client invoices tie to contracts, time entries, or tickets, and each platform supports both recurring and ad-hoc billing.21
  • A branded client self-service portal is included in every product, letting end customers submit and track tickets and access resources without direct technician contact.222317
  • Dashboard and reporting views covering ticket resolution, billing, and asset status round out the shared feature set across all ten products.24182515

Three structural shifts are reshaping the all-in-one MSP software market between 2025 and 2026: pricing model realignment, native security bundling, and embedded AI copilots.

  • The market is moving from per-device to per-technician unlimited-endpoint pricing as a dominant model.
    • Syncro charges $129 per user per month on annual billing with unlimited endpoints on every tier.10 26
    • However, convergence is incomplete. NinjaOne remains on a per-device structure, with rates ranging from $1.50 per endpoint at 10,000 devices to $3.75 at 50 or fewer.11 Kaseya 365 Endpoint also prices per endpoint rather than per technician.7
    • ConnectWise Pro, launched for select partners in July 2025, lets partners choose either per-technician or per-endpoint billing.14
  • Vendors are bundling native security directly into unified platforms rather than requiring separate security stacks.
    • Kaseya 365 Endpoint bundles Datto Antivirus, Datto EDR, and endpoint backup with 5TB of shared storage into a single subscription.7
    • ConnectWise launched Modern Threat Protection in April 2026, unifying Managed EDR, SIEM, and email security around a 15-minute triage and remediation SLA.27
    • By contrast, NinjaOne does not ship its own EDR engine. It surfaces third-party alerts through integrations with Bitdefender GravityZone and Blackpoint Cyber.2829
    • N-able’s EDR, powered by SentinelOne, operates as a standalone product with its own console rather than being deeply embedded into the N-central unified platform.30
  • Built-in AI copilots and agentic assistants are expanding from recommendation engines to closed-loop execution.
    • Atera’s AI Copilot analyzes and summarizes tickets, categorizes and routes them, and generates scripts from plain-text instructions.31 Atera made the copilot included at no extra cost on every plan as of June 2026.12
    • ConnectWise AI Agents moved to general availability, automating ticket triage, alert assignment, and first-touch resolution.32 ConnectWise Sidekick provides AI-generated PowerShell scripting inside RMM consoles, and ConnectWise Pro bundles more than 50 prebuilt robotic process automation workflows.14
