Speech-to-Text Benchmark: Deepgram vs. Whisper
We benchmarked the leading speech-to-text (STT) providers, focusing specifically on healthcare applications. Our benchmark used real-world examples to assess transcription accuracy in medical contexts, where precision is crucial. Based on both word error rate (WER) and character error rate (CER) results, GPT-4o-transcribe demonstrates the highest transcription accuracy among all evaluated speech-to-text systems. Deepgram Nova-v3 and…
Remote Browsers: Web Infra for AI Agents Compared
AI agents rely on remote browsers to automate web tasks without being blocked by anti-scraping measures. The performance of this browser infrastructure is critical to an agent’s success. We benchmarked 8 providers on success rate, speed, and features. To do this, we executed 160 automated tasks, running 4 distinct scenarios 5 times for each service…
Top 10 Open Source Web Crawlers for LLM & AI
Recent advances in generative AI have reshaped what developers need from web crawlers. Agentic crawlers now use natural-language prompts to select links rather than fixed rules, and produce token-efficient markdown natively. At the same time, the classic frameworks for large-scale batch crawling remain irreplaceable for enterprise and research use. Language: Python | License: Apache 2.0…
Top 15+ Data as a Service Companies
Data as a Service (DaaS) is a cloud model that delivers data on demand, usually on a subscription. It lets a business buy the datasets it needs without collecting and storing the data itself. See the top data as a service companies and data types they provide, the key features such as data analytics, and…
Compare Large Vision Models: GPT-4o vs YOLOv8n
Large vision models (LVMs) can automate and improve visual tasks such as defect detection, medical diagnosis, and environmental monitoring. We benchmarked three object detection models: YOLOv8n, DETR, and GPT-4o Vision, across 1,000 images each, measuring metrics such as mAP@0.5, inference speed, FLOPs, and parameter count. To ensure a fair comparison, all images were resized to…
LLM Inference Engines: vLLM vs LMDeploy vs SGLang
We benchmarked 3 leading LLM inference engines on NVIDIA H100: vLLM, LMDeploy, and SGLang. Each engine processed identical workloads: 1,000 ShareGPT prompts using Llama 3.1 8B-Instruct to isolate the true performance impact of their architectural choices and optimization strategies. We measured offline batch throughput across 10,000 total inference operations (1,000 prompts × 10 runs per…
MCP Benchmark: Top MCP Servers for Web Access
We benchmarked 8 MCP servers across web search and extraction, as well as browser automation tasks, by running 4 different tasks 5 times on all suitable MCPs. We also performed a load test involving 250 concurrent AI agents. *Web search & extraction tasks are run with Bright Data’s default MCP server, browser automation tasks are…

Wu Dao 3.0: China's Version of GPT-5
When the US cut off China’s access to advanced chips, the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence faced a choice: complain about restrictions or work around them. They picked the second option. Wu Dao 3.0, launched in July 2023, throws out the playbook. No massive trillion-parameter models competing for headlines. Instead, BAAI now builds compact models…
