We benchmarked 4 web scraping providers on aliexpress.com and sent a total of 200 requests at concurrency 5. The results were filtered from e-commerce scraping benchmark, which ran across 100 domains at three concurrency levels (5, 100, and 5000).

AliExpress scrapers & benchmark results
Decodo reached 78% success on AliExpress with an average completion time of about 8 seconds, the lowest latency of the four providers.
Decodo ran entirely through Site Unblocker (mode unblocker), which returned raw rendered HTML that we parsed on our side.
Search pages cleared 92% (23 of 25), while product pages held at 64% (16 of 25). The weaker side was product rather than search.
Zyte reached 84% success on AliExpress at roughly 25 seconds per request on average.
Product pages ran at 100% success and about 19 seconds using product extraction on the Zyte API, while productList extraction on the same endpoint dropped to 68% at 34 seconds on search.
Both modes ran with browserHtml: true and Zyte’s IA parser filling in the schema. The gap between the two page types came from search results being harder to parse cleanly, not from a different network path.
Nimble reached 100% success on AliExpress across both product and search pages, with an average end-to-end completion time of about 13 seconds.
Every request went through the Nimble Web API (api.webit.live/api/v1/realtime/web) using the same payload shape: render enabled, parsing on, JSON output. Only the target URL changed between calls.
Product and search performed identically, so there was no gap between the two page types in either success rate or latency.
Apify reached 74% success on AliExpress with about 50 seconds per request on average, the highest latency of the four.
URLs went through the E-commerce Scraping Tool actor, called synchronously through run-sync-get-dataset-items. Product URLs were passed in detailsUrls, search URLs in listingUrls, with scrapeMode: AUTO and countryCode:us.
Product pages ran at 80% and about 46 seconds, and search pages at 68% and about 54 seconds. Both page types worked, but the actor path was noticeably slower than the direct-API providers.
What you can extract from AliExpress
We parsed all AliExpress fields from HTML. Both the unblocker and the scraper API providers returned HTML for AliExpress, so the parsing step was the same regardless of the product used. We defined and validated the fields we needed for scoring, but any of the fields listed below can be extracted from the same HTML.
Product pages
- Identifiers: product title, product ID, SKU, canonical URL
- Pricing: current price, original price, discount percentage, currency
- Availability: stock status, sold count, shipping options, estimated delivery date
- Seller: store name, store rating, store URL
- Media: main image, gallery images, product videos
- Product details: description, specifications, variant options (color, size, model)
- Reviews: rating, review count, rating breakdown, top reviews, review photos
Search and category pages
- Per result card: title, product ID, listing URL, thumbnail, price, currency
- Signals: star rating, review count, sold count, store name
- Badges: promotion, coupon, sponsored versus organic
- Page-level: pagination, applied filters, total result count

AliExpress benchmark methodology
We filtered aliexpress.com out of our broader benchmark that ran 100 e-commerce domains at three concurrency levels (5, 100, 5000). The charts on this page use the concurrency 5 slice.
Each provider was called through its most relevant AliExpress product: Apify’s E-commerce Scraping Tool actor, Decodo’s Site Unblocker, the Nimble Web API, and the Zyte API.
A request counts as successful only when the response body contains the target data. Completion time is the average end-to-end latency over successful requests only; failed attempts are not counted toward the time.
Perguntas frequentes
Both worked in our benchmark. Every provider returned HTML for AliExpress, whether it came from a scraper API (Apify, Nimble, Zyte) or an unblocker (Decodo). If you are already comfortable maintaining a parser, an unblocker is enough. A scraper API mainly saves work when your team does not want to touch the DOM.
AliExpress search and product pages have different rendering and anti-bot behavior. Some providers use one extraction schema for product listings (product) and another for result grids (productList), and the two schemas can perform very differently on the same site. In our data, Zyte was strong on product but weaker on search, while Decodo showed the opposite pattern.
Yes for most of the interactive fields. Variant prices, shipping estimates, and stock counts update client-side, so a headless browser or JS-rendering scraper produces much cleaner data than plain HTTP requests. Providers that render pages before returning them outperformed non-rendering paths in our runs.
