Which Proxy Provider Works Best in Korea?

Gulbahar Karatas

mis à jour le 25 sept. 2026

We benchmarked the top Korean proxy services using residential IPs across 11 domains that Korean users rely on, from local platforms such as Naver, Daum, Danawa, Musinsa, and Namu Wiki to global ones such as Google, Instagram, and X.

Decodo and Oxylabs offer dedicated Korean hostnames. Bright Data and Oxylabs offer the deepest targeting, down to ZIP code and carrier ASN. NodeMaven offers Korean cities and Korean mobile IPs.

In the benchmark, Webshare, NodeMaven, and Oxylabs perform closely on success rate; Oxylabs tends to be fastest, and Apify clearly trails on speed.

Korea proxy benchmark results: success rate & response time

Chargement du graphique

Success rates for all the benchmarked vendors sit in a tight band, and day-to-day swings are often larger than the gaps between vendors. Response time separates vendors more clearly. Oxylabs, NodeMaven, and Webshare stay close together, with Oxylabs usually fastest. Apify is consistently slower.

Our benchmark routes requests through each vendor’s residential proxies to 11 domains relevant to Korean users and tracks daily success rate and average response time. The live chart updates continuously; the chart below is a snapshot, so the text describes patterns rather than fixed numbers. See the detailed methodology for Korea proxies.

Bright Data is the best fit for fine-grained Korean targeting, such as a specific city, ZIP code, or carrier ASN. It has no dedicated Korean hostname; you append -country-kr to your zone username.

Its targeting is the deepest of the other providers in this article: state, city, ZIP, and ASN, included at no extra cost. ASN targeting lets you pin traffic to specific Korean carriers or broadband ISPs.

Oxylabs is the fastest provider in our benchmark. Dedicated entry nodes are kr-pr.oxylabs.io:30000 for rotating and ports 30001–39999 for sticky. The global gateway with cc-KR in the username also works.

Sticky IPs on the Korean ports last up to 10 minutes. Targeting reaches city, ZIP, coordinates, and ASN but not on the country ports; Seoul needs username parameters instead of kr-pr. Exit locations come from MaxMind, so Korean sites using another geo database may see a different city.

Decodo is the lowest-friction option for country-level Korean residential traffic. kr.decodo.com uses rotating port 10000 and sticky ports 10001–19999. The port alone sets rotation, so it works with tools that accept host: port.

It supports username: password or whitelisted IPs. City endpoints cover US and European cities; Korean cities go through backconnect parameters. Expect patchy Korean city coverage.

Webshare is the budget pick, and it has the most consistent success rate in our benchmark. For rotating residential, you select Backbone Connection in the dashboard and pick South Korea; country codes then appear in the username.

Its headline Korean IP count seems to combine these types. State, city, ZIP, and ASN targeting exist only for rotating residential, and available Korean cities aren’t documented. In our benchmark, Webshare stays at or near the top on success rate, though it is slightly slower than Oxylabs and NodeMaven.

NodeMaven is a good fit for account-based or long-session work in major Korean cities, especially where mobile IPs help. Targeting goes in the username on gate.nodemaven.com: country, region, city, session, quality filter, and IPv4-only.

It has residential and mobile IPs in Seoul, Busan, and Incheon, with both sticky and rotating modes supporting city targeting. In our benchmark, NodeMaven is fast and close to the top on success rate, but its results swing more from day to day than the other vendors’.

Apify fits if you run scrapers on its platform and need country-level Korean exits. You set groups: [‘RESIDENTIAL’] with countryCode: ‘KR’. Its targeting is the thinnest of the others. State-level is US-only, so there is no Korean province or city targeting. Residential sessions last around 30 minutes. In our benchmark, Apify is the slowest of the other vendors throughout, and it shows the deepest success-rate dips.

Korea proxies benchmark methodology

Requests were sent through each vendor’s residential proxies to 11 domains: aliexpress.com, danawa.com, daum.net, facebook.com, google.com, instagram.com, musinsa.com, namu.wiki, naver.com, twitter.com, and x.com. The set mixes Korean platforms with global sites that Korean users rely on.

Two metrics are tracked daily per vendor:

  • Success rate: the share of requests that returned a successful response.
  • Average response time: the mean time to receive a response, in seconds.
